Everyone's a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too

. 4 Sep 2017 .

Ever get those moments where something mundane leads to something kind of awesome? That happened earlier in the day, when it was tipping it down - what's new, eh? British weather. So to hide from the rain, I walked into Waterstones, and stumbled upon this book. Everyone's a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too by Jomny Sun caught my attention, had a quick look at the first couple of pages, and decided to buy it (alongside Jon Krakauer's Into The Wild).

£19.99 lighter, when I got home, I read it all in one go. The story follows Jomny, an alien who is going to discover what humans are like. However, he doesn't realise that those he meets on Earth are not human.

Didn't even take me an hour to finish - so, it's not exactly a long read! It's made up of lots of illustrations and writing here and there, so suppose it's a graphic novel of sorts? (Considering that's the section I got it from...) but there were some things in the book that I found myself nodding furiously to. Ways of thinking and feeling, and it was nice to be like "That's cool that someone else feels the exact same way!" Sounds stupid, I know, but it's nice seeing something you feel about yourself on paper, written by someone else. Does that make sense, or am I just rambling on?

If you need a book to feel as though you aren't alone? Check this book out. It's relatively short and sweet, and will put a smile on your face. Personally, it'll be staying on my shelf to be re-read time and time again.
